There will be 4 weekly in-person sessions on Saturday mornings held at Mooredale Coach House, followed by a performance with all participants.
The camp is open to 20 participants and 2 skill levels:
Group A*: RCM4-5
Group B*: RCM6 & above
* 10 player maximum for each Group
Music will be selected from classical, cinema, jazz, pop, and world genres, depending on what the players wish to explore. Two chamber music formats will be studied – ensemble (up to 5 players) and small orchestra (10 players). A coach is assigned to each ensemble to lead the chamber rehearsals. Two of those coaches will be conductors of the Groups A&B small orchestras. Each coach will also perform for the entire group and discuss playing techniques.
