Stringtime Niederrhein is a trinational string academy with selected children and young people from Poland, the Netherlands and Germany. The founders of Stringtime - Helmut Lintzen, Prof. Boguslaw Jan Strobel and Georg Michel - wanted to establish a music project to promote outstanding young talents in Goch. People were enthusiastic about a regular exchange of training methods from other countries. It was the birth of Stringtime, the concept of which has been and continues to be developed over the years in order to realize a fresh and lively Stringtime every year.
Since then we can look back on many years of successful academy work. The young musicians are taught in the areas of orchestra, chamber music and individual lessons by well-known lecturers from the three countries. In the more than 25 years of its existence, Stringtime has become a lively festival for young musicians. In the meantime, it has found international recognition and thus shines far beyond the borders of our region.
