Summer Keyboard Explorations participants will receive daily piano lessons – both classical and jazz – from WSU piano faculty, and a 50-minute daily workshop on piano related topics. Every camper will work with Washington State University piano faculty members to improve their musical skills.
In collaboration with Cougar Summer Music Camp, each student will have the opportunity to join one or two ensembles (Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, String Orchestra, Musical Theatre, and Concert Choir) and explore other areas of interest such as music theory, rock and roll history, jazz improvisation, conducting, and more. There will be lots of down time for evening activities and fun!
The Camp will also feature various special concert/recitals, social events at the WSU UREC Center.
